About
Hello!
My name is Jennifer Zimmerman and this is my 2nd year teaching at GCIS as the art teacher. I have loved seeing my students grow throughout the year. It takes a lot of courage to create artwork, let alone show it to others! This site is very special in this case. All artwork that is show has been photographed with permission from the artist. This means these students are excited to show their work to everyone and that makes me one happy art teacher!
Throughout the year I teach students the importance of neat and complete projects. When they feel their work is finished I allow them to use my iPad and photograph their artwork.
Once it is photographed I ask them to preview their image and make sure it is not blurry or crooked. When they edit and approve the image I upload it here where you can see!
Make sure to visit every month or so to see new artwork. If you do not see work from your child encourage them to share it! Sometimes we all need a little encouragement to boost our confidence!

Artwork order forms will be sent home in Wednesday folders around 3/14/18 (as long as there are no more snow storms)
You can purchase different items printed with your student's artwork! Some items include mugs, t-shirts, keychains, and stickers!
