4th and 5th grade art
Whether your are in 4th or 5th grade there is always something exciting a new going on! Come check out all that we have been working so hard on in class!
4th Grade
In 4th grade we focus on making sure artwork is colored in one direction no matter what material we are using. Our projects are inspired by things from all over the world and we always find ways to connect it back to what we know about life in North Carolina. Students also get a chance to learn about positive ways to discuss other's art as well as their own!
5th Grade
In 5th grade students take basic skills they learn in 4th grade and begin to build confidence in creating artwork all by themselves. It is a scary thing to show artwork but I encourage every student to try their best! Students explore inspirations from across the globe and make an effort to create unique works of art that are different from their peers. These are then shared and celebrated throughout the year using positive feedback!
